THE FINAL COMEDOWN

THE FINAL COMEDOWN

The Final Comedown was released in 1971 and is the first soundtrack on Blue Note Records. It was written by Grant Green for the blaxploitation drama by Oscar Williams. The film is an examination of racism in the USA. The music itself is a funky jazz adventure of the american jazz guitarist and shows his wide range of production. Heavy drum breaks stay close to funky jams, smooth jazzy vibes and some dark library tunes. Again underrated and full of musical pleasure.
