Dollar or The Heist (UK) was written and directed by Richard Brooks and hits another film score by Quincy Jones back in 1971. The soundtrack features performances by Little Richard, Roberta Flack and Doug Kershaw. Even though the critics weren’ that happy and there was no chart entry or something, it’s still a damn funky piece of work. Plus it got sampled many times for example from Gangstarr and Mobb Deep. “Snow Creatures” is just one heavy and raw library kind of track that fits perfectly into a movie scene. Fun fact: primary location of the movie has been Hamburg, Germany.
