Car Wash

The soundtrack for Car Wash was written by Norman Whitfield and played by Rose Royce in 1976. The Hit comedy featured Richard Pryor and George Carlin and was also the debut album for Rose Royce. It was a major success including three Billboard Top Ten singles whereas the title track was a number one hit single in the Billboard pop charts. They also won a grammy in 1977 for the best Score Soundtrack Album.
