Bobby Bland

The American Blues-&-Soul singer Bobby "Blue" Bland, was born on January 27, 1930 in Rosemark, Tennessee and died on June 23, 2013 in Memphis. With "Farther Up the Road", Bland landed in the American pop charts for the first time in 1957. In 2008, the Rolling Stone listed Bland as number 44 of the 100 best singers of all time.
